Roughly a month before the SIHH in Geneva, where Richemont brands (a.o.) introduce their novelties to the press, retailers and consumers, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents their Master Ultra Thin Moon Enamel already. Limited to 100 pieces only, this fake watch features a dial that is completely executed by hand by a few artisans trained in Le Sentier, where the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture is located.

Jaeger-LeCoultre uses the Master Ultra Thin not only to show their hand-guilloché blue enamel dial but also their moonphase indicator. A hand-craft combined with a mechanical complication.
The Master Ultra Thin Moon Enamel has a white gold 39mm case that is only 10.04mm in height, hence the 'Ultra Thin?designator. Inside, we find the JLC Calibre 925/2 movement. An automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve and, of course, the moonphase complication.
I have to say that the first images that Jaeger-LeCoultre shows us look pretty awesome. The dial is simply stunning with its guillochage technique. The 'cocktail?motif is beautiful, especially in this blue tone. Also pay close attention to the moon phase disc and the date disc with its numbers in bas-relief. Also new on the dial are the double hour markers at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. The high polished dauphine hands give a nice contrast to the blue enamel dial. The entire composition is simply beautiful, at least on the pictures we've seen so far. I can't wait to see and handle this fake watch in the flesh next month during the SIHH.
If this is the new direction that Jaeger-LeCoultre's new CEO Catherine Rénier has in mind, I am even more excited to see their other new replica watches during the SIHH 2019 and following years. It seems as if they are targeting a slightly different audience with these Master Ultra Thin replica watches than the 50-year old dentist driving a Volvo they did in the past. This Ultra Thin Moon Enamel is definitely something that will appeal to a larger and perhaps broader audience. The price is not to be officially communicated yet.
